Shape Of Love NOW – This week in movie-making

+ considering story ideas and information discovered at the Maine Archives and Museums Annual Conference in Farmington last week

+ switching gears to finish work on an unrelated video project (a good thing…I haven’t done much editing lately, so it’s great practice!)

+ thinking about Fall in Maine and how I’m going to weave the seasons into the film so they flow

PHOTO and QUICK PONDER of the Week: Apple Slices, Tarts and Pies – Seasonal Shapes (and tastes!) of Love

I have a crazy calendar this week, so courtesy of my friend Julie who put this seasonal treat together, enjoy this delicious and easy Apple Tart recipe. I’ll be back to ramble next week!

Apple Tart

4 Cortland apples

1/4 Cup Sugar

1 tsp Apple pie spice

1/2 tsp kosher salt

Juice of 1 Lemon

1 Pie Crust

Peel, core and quarter the apples. Then thinly slice them lengthwise. Place apples in a large bowl and toss with sugar, Apple pie spice, salt and lemon juice. Put pie crust in tart pan and arrange the apples in concentric circles so they overlap slightly.

Bake at 425 for 30 minutes and brush with your favorite jam.
